Trademarks & Copyright

Protect your name, logo, and work legally

An unregistered trademark can be claimed by someone else first. We help you search, choose the classes, and file the application with DJKI (the Directorate General of Intellectual Property) until the certificate is issued.

Service options

Trademark

A name, logo, or distinctive sign for goods and services.

Copyright

Recording of written works, music, art, photos, and computer programs.

Patent

Protection for technological inventions.

Industrial design

Protection for a product's shape, configuration, or appearance.

What we handle

  • Similarity search in the DJKI database
  • Determining the classes of goods and services
  • Preparing and filing the application
  • Monitoring the status and responding to oppositions or provisional refusals
  • Renewal and assignment of registered trademarks

What you need to prepare

  • Trademark label or logo
  • Applicant details, individual or business entity
  • Applicant's signature
  • List of goods or services that use the trademark
  • Micro and small business (UMK) certificate, if applying at the UMK rate

How the process works

  1. Trademark search

We check whether a similar trademark is already registered in the same class.

  2. Choose classes

Your goods or services are matched to the right trademark classes.

  3. Filing

The application is filed with DJKI and we keep the filing receipt.

  4. Examination

We monitor the publication and examination period, and respond if there are any oppositions.

  5. Certificate

If approved, the trademark certificate is issued and is valid for 10 years.

Good to know

  • An initial search reduces the risk of refusal, but the final decision still rests with DJKI.

Questions about Trademarks & Copyright

How long does trademark protection last?

10 years from the filing date, and it can be renewed.

Does copyright have to be registered?

No. Copyright arises automatically when a work is created. Recording it gives you written evidence in case of a dispute.

What is the difference between branding and trademark registration?

Branding is creating the name and logo. Trademark registration is the legal process to protect them. We can help with both.
